Our (and many other RV's) grey tank fills much faster than our black tank. So ... to "even out" the tanks' fill rates so as to stay dry camped longer without being limited by grey water capacity, we off-load grey water periodically into the black tank. This shortens how long you might think you can go "on the black tank" versus if you only use the black tank for toilet waste.
We watch our tank indicators (how we keep these accurate is another topic of discussion) and keep the two tanks filling about equally by off-loading grey into black. So a better question for us would be "How long can we drycamp with our combined black/grey tanks' 70 gallon capacity?".
I know some will disagree but if I am boon docking and my gray gets full I let some go in a container and simply water the trees or vegetation in the area- I have even seen people attach a garden hose to the end of their line and use that to water the vegetation- great idea. Obviously you can't do this near a lake, stream, creek... but if done in proper, inconspicuous, and courteous manner so the next camper never knows I think it is fine.
On extended trips we bring a 55 gallon ag tank and a pump that runs off the trailer plug so we can add water to the rig when needed- Simply fill up the tank whenever we go to town...

We are usually 'out and about' during the day, away from the rig. As a guy, I have no problem using the woods. So I use our black tank only evening/night/early morning. DW, otoh, will hold it until we return to camp.

That's perfectly acceptable if it is such a remote site no one else will use it until several weeks after you leave. If it is a popular heavily used site and some else will pull in the day after you leave, and he does the same thing, followed by the next camper, etc, then a cumulative problem will develop. Just because there is no visible gray water residue on the surface does not mean the waste is fully neutralized a few inches down.

We are sometimes in CGs where campers are requested to do this.

We have seen a number of camp hosts do this, so it must not be too bad.

Supposedly our black tank is 40 gallons, but we must poop a lot because it is filled between day 4 & 5.

If you have little ones and it's not freezing: $6 Walmart pool and outside shower. Drag the pool off in the woods to empty.

WE have a 32 gallon blackwater tank. This past weekend we were out for almost 3 days. There was 3 of us using it. When we went to dump we added water from the hose at the dump in order to fill up the tank to dump and it took quiet a while and really not sure if it was full or not. I would gander we could easily go a week on it if not more. We didn't use the toilets at the bathhouse either. WE did use the showers as our 64 gallon grey water tank seems to fill up fast. If we don't do a shower where we turn off the water only to rinse, then it will be full after the 3 of us shower. But we are getting better about that. My wife and I showered in it one time and she did the shortened shower and I let it run continuosly and I don't thiink we even made it to a 1/3 full. We will have to teach our 9 yr old daughter to do this as well.

You can always save water and not fill your black tank up as often by not flushing as often.

I personally wouldn't try this, but hey, it's an idea. I would also recommend opening up the bathroom ceiling vent.

I always have to add a lot of water to my black tank before dumping.
I think a quart is about right for a decent flush... give or take a bit.
