Well, you have gotten figures of 1 1/2 gallons per flush down to a few ounces per flush, well.......................do the math.
It all depends on your flushing quantity.
If you really want to know, measure the water you used in X flushes, and calculate using your black tank capacity. Either go by water taken out of the fresh water tank or catch it in a bucket under the black tank drain.

Quote: If you are using the proper ammount of water it will take about 1 to 1 1/2 gallons per flush. You can figure from there.
This volume seems to be reasonable for a normal house with standard plumbing, but most RVs have the bowl directly over the black tank and really don't need anywhere the same volume.

Four of us can easily go two weeks in our trailer- you have to eat an awful lot of food to fill 60 gallons! We need water long before we fill our black tank and we hold 150 gallons of H2O.
I figure our toilet uses between an 1/8-1/4 gallon of water a flush.

Thanks! That's exactly what I wanted to know.

During a 12 day stay last summer, we didn't fill the black tank, and just filled the gray tank. Neither had to be emptied until we left (although the gray tank was pretty close).
We used the campground showers, and brushed teeth at the campground bathroom. That helped a lot with not filling the gray tank.

If you want to stretch it be sure you park in the shade.
The heat will shorten your expiration date.

I don't understand, what does heat have to do with the length of stay if you have a system that is working properly. We go two weeks dry camping with ours and we also do NOT use chemicals. We use as little water as possible when flushing. When we dump, as soon as I turn on the macerator pump I turn on the black tank flush system and it all works great.

Aren't you lucky to be up in Calgary where it's cooler. I once drove a friend who had to leave his RV at a repair shop due to a breakdown. I could smell his problem on the freeway following him home. If you don't use chemicals you don't have a system, you have a tank.

Don't forget to include in black tank capacity how much grey tank content you are going to off-load into the black tank as you are camping.
Our (and many other RV's) grey tank fills much faster than our black tank. So ... to "even out" the tanks' fill rates so as to stay dry camped longer without being limited by grey water capacity, we off-load grey water periodically into the black tank. This shortens how long you might think you can go "on the black tank" versus if you only use the black tank for toilet waste.
We watch our tank indicators (how we keep these accurate is another topic of discussion) and keep the two tanks filling about equally by off-loading grey into black. So a better question for us would be "How long can we drycamp with our combined black/grey tanks' 70 gallon capacity?".
