I use either Techron or Sea Foam at least once a year in all my gasoline engines. I consider it cheap preventative measures compared to the cost of replacing fuel injectors.
I have experienced personally just how good Sea Foam works for poor running engines. I have a 25 year old chain saw that refused to idle. It took several tanks treated with Sea Foam but now it runs like new. It's like a mechanic in a can.

Recommend the BKK injector cleaner (autoparts/auto dealer service) ...or SeaFoam (any parts/Wally world stores). Either one will work. Fuel rail procedure - initially inject full container of cleaner only, followed by gasoline/cleaner mixture.

I agree with walkeraw from my personal use of each. I now use Sea Foam because I can get it 27/7.

Why do you think you need to clean your injectors?? If you've been using major brand gas, they should be fine. I've got a 1993 Mercury Topaz with 230,000 miles that is still running fine and all I've ever done to the engine is change oil. MPG is as good as new.

My '95 needed it's injectors cleaned to pass smog. I got printed results, and I trust the smog guy.

I could use a few extra hours in a day, you must be on super duper daylight saving time
I used to buy Sea Foam by the small can from the local auto parts store when it was $5.99, now the cheapest I've seen lately has been closer to $9 in Wally World.
I have a boat, lawn mower and of course a couple of generators I use it in, so purchasing by the gallon on sale would be the better approach.
Now, I hear Tractor Supply is the place to purchase Sea Foam by the gallon- what is the best price to expect? Does it go on sale often ?

And all this time you thought GA had the longest days.
TSC had gone up to $50 from $40 a gallon now but one rep told me they have it on sell from time to time so if I find it on sale I will pick up a year's supply.

A quart of cheap ATF in 20 gallons accomplishes the same thing as any "injector cleaner" or "stabilizer".
