Pumps typically don't produce the pressure you will experience from a public source.

Your pump should have a filter between the tank and the pump. That filter could be plugged. Replacement isn't that hard.

It is unlikely that available voltage/amperage to the pump is limited due to a old battery or poor wiring, but that could be the cause.

Finally, the better quality pumps produce more pressure than inexpensive ones. RV outlets sell several, many from the same manufacturer.

That's strange... I get better pressure and flow from the on-board pump than I do from the Park's water line.

I guess that I ought to clean/replace all the filters.

You are likely looking for more flow, rather than higher pressure; pressure is determined by the pressure shutoff switch on the pump, volume of flow is limited by pump capacity and restrictions. RV water pumps come in a range of sizes, so you do have replacement options.

If you are getting adequate flow from the city connection, then water distribution line restrictions probably aren't too bad, so you might get better flow by installing a higher capacity pump.

I agree, check the filters.....I replaced the pump on my last camper only to find out that the screen filter on the tank was pluged. Diddn't even know it had an in tank filter until I pulled the tank out.
