This shows that one man's meat is another man's poison. we LOVE the orange Lynx Blox for levelling. Have two sets and I keep thinking a third would come in handy. I have to agree about the Coleman Road Trip bbq though--impossible to clean, weighs a lot, and half the time when you are rolling or stowing it, it unfolds. My own worst buy is so simple and silly--awning "deflappers". Maybe they work but we almost never stop long enough to bother unfolding our awning, and the times we have, it has never flapped. Meanwhile I apparently thought this gadget was so important that I bought it not once, but TWICE. Two unopened awning deflappers taking up space in case "someday" ever comes.

Bought a stand for the sewer hose four years ago. It's still in the box having never been used.

We love ours too...got 'em 50% off and they work like a charm.

We shouldn't have spent the money on the Sewer Solution. DH got one of the red 3" sewer drains for a few bucks and it's MUCH better.

Another vote "NO" for the flat hose. I thought this would help me orginize my basement in the 5er, but it seperated and got small pin holes after the 4th use. Back to the old (hard to roll) water hose. Ugh. Love the leveling blocks and own two sets. DW purchased a complete set of china for the camper and we have used them about 3-4 times, otherwise it paper and plastic and toss for eating on now. I'm sure there are more things out there, that I will just have to have to find out it's junk.

Funny, prior to this past trip to NY, I would have agreed the slinky sewer hose stand to have been useless. This trip however, the campground sewer connection was elevated and not threaded, so we used our donut for the first time, and dumped gently and the dump pressure popped it out of the sewer connection (a mess), so we ended up taping the hose, head, donut to the sewer and used the slinky stand to keep the hose at a better height/angle. Second time it's been used in 5 years. Guess we will keep it.

Idiot me normally buys 'Aim & Flame' lighters. During a trip recently 2 of our 3 ran out. So when grocery shopping, saw some torch lighters on the end of an aisle and bought them. These are refillable so thought they were a good deal. I can't get the darned things to work, but boyfriend can. Now he says for me to get the Aim & Flames again for the camper, and the refillables can go with the grill at home.

Bought lightweight plastic dish set for camper - and they never feel clean, so they are useless to me. Back to the Corelle.

We do like the lynx leveling blocks - easy to use, easy to clean and store in their own box.

We just trashed ours because they were all broke. They were used about 10 times. I think they were designed for lighter weight RV's. We bought the yellow ones from CW so we'll see how they hold up....

Have a look here at another thread within RV.net about the Levelers... They come with a 3 year manufacturer warranty as well...

Since we tend to be sightseers - and "dump and run" (at the campground - NOT in public!) we seldom use the slinky stand; we seldom use the Lynx blocks (although they work fine); and I think we used the awning deflappers once?

The one thing I wish I hadn't bought was the HUGE 30 amp Portable Surge Suppressor - it was around $250 and we simply don't use it.
