In this industry plagued by rot, poor construction, glitzy non practically interiors, Campers needing 2 ton trucks, etc etc etc. did these people get the right idea?

Gee!!

What say the more technical members ? Its seem really nice.

It looks like the inside of an ambulance. Little too sterile for me.

Don't think I would want to be cooped up in that with the wife, two kids and a dog for a 3 day rain storm at the lake. Might be alright for a single person though....

I can see this hitting the right crowd and taking off - expedition crowd looking to get out of tents. When I was younger I would have loved this. Put it on a small truck and away you go. I would sleep on the floor of my Mazda B2200 with some plywood and carpeting and think this was luxury, this TC would have been so far past luxury that I would have never looked back.

Today with the Northern Lite I would not go for this unit as I love my NL but many will.

I don't think this is a huge improvement. I have an aluminum framed camper. Insulation weighs the same either way, and aluminum has been used for siding in tcs for a long time. I will give them that it is gimicky.

Let's see add alt. options of cassette toilet and extended cabover on the CLTC13 and I would consider it.

All aluminum and NO wood the best idea to come down the pike in many years.

I absolutely love the idea.

How many years ago did they take the wood out of our trucks?

If they ever make one with a 9.5 foot floor and at least 80 inch headroom I will buy it.
Heres hoping my rotting wooden framed camper lasts long enough.

We get to choose rust or wood rot? I guess rust would take longer to compromise the structure?

Hmmmmm.

It seems, from the photos and brief description, like it may be a good camper. If it is really well made, and incorporates the green technologies that this company is known for, then it could hit the sweet spot with campers who are younger and more active. But, it all comes down to price, doesn't it?
