A forum sub entirely devoted to hyperlinks to various suppliers, vendors and information sources. Glad I wouldn't have to do all the work.

Problem is this is a user based website and to do what you want requires monitoring and correcting and that is not something supported by this website ... they don't even have a wanted or for sale section.

Why couldnt each vendor maintain their own words? This information could be stored just as all the other information and retrieved when the 'Vendor Page' is requested.
I personally think It would be great to break out the ads from content, allow various options of how the vendors are display (option selected by the user) for example by product, by name (alpha), by service, etc.
Other forums already do this. Example Supporting Vendors:
http://www.thedieselstop.com/forums/f60/
It could be treated much like each user profile - the vendor would maintain their own words to be presented. It could be limited to qty of chars just like the profile. Images could be used on a limited basis.
It is not something that will be done by the moderators but the owners of the forum code. But it too could be a selling point to future users of the forum code to include that module.

Did you hear what the masochist said to the sadist? He said, "Hit me". The sadist said, "No".

We can't even get subsections for generators or batteries.
But for linked vendors...... RV.net just needs to figure out how much they would pay each month
