CCI controls used to be the manufacturer that made a propane detector that also had a valve out at the tank that shut off the flow of propane...........sadly, they went out of business in 2009.........from time to time there are still units available that pop up on places like ebay...........

Below is a picture of what you would be looking for.........

Just curious.. Why do you not use the stove in the camper?

A licensed plumber with a good LPG sniffer would be my choice to install a valve. Again, about the knobs - can yours be pulled off and stored?

Great set-up but I have never yet seen one for a travel trailer like the OP has. Doesn't mean they arent used in TT's but I have never seen the solinoid shut-off used on them.
