When we were in Vegas and getting work done we did two different things, first we went out for breakfast to ponder the situation and left the vehicle running with the command start and air conditioning on. The boys were happy, then for fun, I took them to the nearest PetSmart for a day at the spa. They got baths, and cleaned up, perhaps they didn't enjoy that as much, but it was more pleasant camping with them after their day of grooming, and we were like free parents going to the air conditioned malls and casinos.

A bag of ice and a little water. when hot dogs like to lick the ice to cool down. Fans are of no use for dogs.

The groomers is a great idea! Gives you 4 or so hours to walk the strip.

Everyone, thanks for all the great ideas. One thing I didn't think about is we are towing a car and it has A/C. Duh. Worst case we can drive around all day sightseeing and be in the A/C. Even if we waste a tank of gas, it isn't a very expensive option. We also will talk to the dealer (Johnnie Walker) if we can hang there if they feel they can have the work done quickly. If something goes really wrong with the work on the RV, we will use the hotel option.
Thanks again for all the great ideas.

I Left Baby in the car when I ran into Petsmart on Eastern Ave in Vegas to buy her some food. When I exited the store, I saw a Motorcycle Police Officer parked directly behind the car.
I asked the Officer if anything was wrong and he smiled (saw her food in my hand). Told me they got a call that someone left their pet in a car, but when he arrived he noticed the car running, and the bucket of water (on the cooler between the passenger seat and dash).
Gave me the go ahead, to have a good one and a safe trip.

....or lose some money....
However it's my opinion that a lot of folks in Vegas don’t realize they may be better off going to church….Why you ask?…Because they’re essentially doing the same thing at the casinos….They walk into the place….Pray.…Then donate some or a lot of money.
