The tag on my ladder says the limit is 250 lbs.

I am, currently, 315 in my stocking feet and just did the A/C cleaning you wish to do .. By the way, once I got off the roof I was able to run both front and rear A/C's on this rig, (And nothing else) on a single 30 amp line (Well.. Perhaps one TV, but that is about all) Meter said 2 a/c plus main tv, 27 amps.
The ladder which damon bolted to the rig (Standard RV ladder) was a joke for my 300 plus pounds. It hit the recyclers.
I use a Extension/step (Convertable) ladder my dad originally bought and though ti's rated at, I thin 250 or 275 It holds me no problem.
The roof, is every bit as solid as the kitchen floor (Which by the way is in like new condition save for needing a mop or broom)
Nothin adds excitment like something that is none of your business

We were told not to go on our roof at all when we bought our MH. So how do you do any maintenance or even cleaning?

6 foot 8 inch 390 pounds and I have and regularly go on my roofs. both the DP and the previous 30 foot winnie. I crawl on hands and knees and stay over the cabinet mountins as much as possible. Crawling pots the weight on four points instead of two. have not had any issues so far. (yes Im loosing weight. down to 340 and falling)

I had to drill a hole in mine large enough to run the coax and motor control cables for my satellite dish. There is a LOT of wood up there, over an inch thick. The last thing I'm worried about is falling through the roof. The spec for you S&B house is 3/4" plywood - if your're lucky. Otherwise you get the disintegrate at the mere mention of water particle board. If you are not going through the floor in your house, the roof is fine.

My old safari leaked so bad, that it was hard to tell the difference between inside and out during rain. It had a fiberglass membrane over a fiberglass and 3/4" plywood sub surface. It crunched like broken glass in spots, but never bowed.
I had found out after I bought it, that it had exploded at some point in its life.
