That's a good thing for consumers and not just iPad owners. The iPad may have been the impetus for Amazon.com and Barnes & Noble to drop their e-reader prices.

As for iPad owners the better than expected success could drive developments faster. The bigger the market the more who will want to satisfy it.

If you own Apple stock it puts a on your face.

Has anyone else found that the Ipad screen at times can be non-responsive? I have been very frustrated as I have had to hit the screen several time to get it to react. I have noticed the flatter you lay the Ipad, the less responsive it is. I have used touch screens in the work place for years and this is the first one I have experienced that there is no way to calibrate the screen for your personal touch. Even my Blackberry can be calibrated.

Is this an Ipad issue or am I being too picky?

My wife has the same problem; IMHO it has something to do with finger capacitance or some such. She solved it by using a Pogo stylus and I also use it now. I find that when drawing or writing it's more like a pen.
