We bought the fruit cubes and use them a lot. They do work well and keep the drink cold. Then you just rinse them off and pop them back into the freezer. I store my fruit cubes in a small Glad storage container in the freezer of the TT.
Happy camping.

We have an ice maker and just let it crank out what we need.

Here's the way we have been handling ice for over 20 years. We are not full-timers. We use 4 plastic ice trays. Before we go camping, we fill the trays and place the filled trays and the ice container in the home freezer. Once the water has frozen, dump all four trays into the container and refill the trays. All back into the home freezer. Once they freeze, all go into the freezer in the MH. After we have used about half the cubes in the ice holder, dump 2 of the trays, refill with water and put them in the freezer. This does not cause the freezer contents to thaw, maybe softens the ice cream for a short while, but that's about it. Happy camping, Dave

I got some "Cubies" at Walmart a few years ago. I haven't noticed any odd taste in a drink when using them. Nor have any of them broken or leaked. I just toss them in the dish water when cleaning up, rinse them off and put them back in the freezer.
Will be looking to get some more this summer.
