Hard to tell most places won’t even list their prices for the Hondas any more, and the ones that do seem to be are well over $150 more…
I agree, they have come down from years of obscene prices to just overpriced now in a short time with more room for movement… once the margin on them comes down a little more they will move their mfg of them to china, like they did their other lines, and through piracy there will be a lot of Honda like generators out there for yet lower prices…
I like the stackable design of the Champion and its parallel capable interface…

That link now says MSRP $999
I don't think that site has any valid sales authority and very likey is a front , buying from an official sales/dealer and reselling
Options, always have options, and the journey goes much smoother

MSRP: $999.99
Your price: $699.95
You decide if it’s a front… it is not available for delivery yet, so I wouldn‘t buy yet…
It will never be sold at the MSRP and I would be willing to bet it will be sold below the your price shown here once available…
It just may be time for Honda to get realistic on price…
Until recently they and Yamaha enjoyed no real competition in this type of unit, but that gap is closing in on them…
They will still sell for more, and still be the best, with the most dealers, but they will adjust their price or lose even more market share… they will do all they can to avoid that… unfortunately for everyone that will mean the eventual outsourcing to third party mfg, most likely in China where most of their other generators are made…
