I love Cherrystone... Great place. Only dislike is that they do not allow late check-out on Sundays. Being semi-local I like to make the most of my weekend had hate to check-out by 11:00 on Sunday morning. They only offer me the opportunity to park my 5er in a field (unhooked) and enjoy my extended stay. I see no benefit in packing up and moving the trailer to spend the 5-6 extra hours. I understand they are a very busy campground and love the new business, but give a little credit to the returning local business. Again, I love Cherrystone....

I get a kick out of the Cherrystone bashing. We have been going for 14 years now - 2 weeks a year. If you like private campgrounds with every amnenity, this is the place for you. Yes the weather can be something else and when it is some one is always in an uproar that their site is under water. So what is it exactly that they are supposed to do. The beauty of the place is being right on the bay so when the bay comes up ..... The worst is when the winds kick up and the awnings start flying. When in doubt TAKE IT DOWN!!!!!! As far as the piers they have all been rebuilt and they also added a small water park which is in the second of three phases. By the way, hi Wayne
