We park in a lot out back behind a gym often. after a long stumble home we woke up in the middle of a clasic car meet. even grumpy campers can buy 50-50 tickets

On the way home from Disney Ft. Wilderness a few weeks ago we were traveling down I10 still in FL when it started to Pour down Rain. A little white car passed us on the left moving along pretty good. I didn't give it much thought. Once it was about a 1/4 mile ahead passing 18 wheeler it started swerving side to side very badly then it started spinning across the highway where it hit the grass on the right hand side of the highway barely missing a guard rail until it hit a large tree. I quickly pulled over and ran to the car which was smoking very badly. In the front were two yound women and in the back was a small child. A boy about 10 mos old. I pulled the little boy out and opened the drivers door and helped the two women out. Miraculously no one was injured. We called 911 and waited for the ambulance and police. I bought all the people into my RV out of the weather. Needless to say it got my kids attention. That is a heck of a way to end a vacation I have to say.

We had just left our campground on Mount Lemmon AZ to return home and there was a fatal accident that closed the only road for close to 4 hours. We just made more coffee and set the chairs out there on the road. DW met numerous women that were stranded also that just loved our bathroom.

We camped overnight in a Walmart parking lot one night. It was late when we rolled in and we were all very tired. We proceeded to crash out and not long after we heard this really loud noise and it got very bright outside. We realized we parked right across for a helicopter/medivac hub. About four or five different copters headed out that night. The bright spot was when the sun came up I realized there was also a Starbucks in the lot. My silver lining

Years ago, we were military and traveling from DC to WA for a new assignment. We stopped in Montana and campground near Drummond and our teenage daughter headed to the bathroom. It was one of those old concrete ones without a front door, but did have stall doors. All of a sudden she yell, "Daddy, you get over here right now." Now she wasn't one to talk to her father like that so he goes running. Two steers had followed her into the bath and she couldn't get out and they just stood there. LOL I nearly peed my pants, watching my husband try to get the cows out of the bathroom so my daughter could get out.
