You'll pop the circuit breakers on the generators before anything will burn.

33.4 amps for a few minutes will not hurt a 30 amp cord.

I dont think going 2+ amps over the rated capacity of the 30 amp cord is going to be a problem. Even a sustained load of such would be OK. Obviously, Id be careful about usage. I have something that Ive made that is similiar. I had some 10/4 cable(30') and I put a 50 amp male and female on the ends and I use it for my 50 amp MH as an extension when Im parked in front of the house. I have a good idea what I can and cant do with the extensions limited capacity. Go For it!

I think I'm lost here!
How do you "combine" two 120 volt generators ???
It's not like linking two DC batteries in series or parallel. Both generators will be producing 60-cycle AC current. How do you keep them in phase ??
I realize that a 50-amp circuit for an RV has two independent hots and a common ground. Are these units built to run in parallel to product 240 volt (sort of) power ??
If that is what they are doing, how can you then push that through a 30-amp wire ???
Did I miss something ??

You take 2 generators designed to operate in parallel, connect them together, and start 'em up.

Thanks beerbreath. That answers the question of combining the extension cords. How about the other question. Would you use a 30 amp. extension cord on a pair of generators with a max. rating of 32 amps.?
Yes, don't try to load more then 30A, like two AC's.
I assume you have one of these. link
