The parks that advertise themselves as Resorts and turn out to be trailer parks. OR, this just happened, the park takes our reservation over the phone for a 37' 5r and assigns us a pull through that is 30' long! (well that is our biggest space they replied)

My least favorite things are inconsiderate people. Things like radios/music that I can hear in my site. Loud conversation, I mean really loud, late at night. Someone arriving late at night and taking a long time to get their rig parked, yelling directions and then opening and slamming each compartment door to find something. Oh, I almost forgot, people that walk thru your campsite and/or let their dog make a deposit and don't clean it up!

The least favorite thing about camping is how my dog always
manages to get her rope caught around something, whether the picnic table, the tires, the water hose, the trees etc...very annoying!!!!

Least favorite thing: Most Campgrounds are too crowded.

The fact that my kids don't come with us all the time any more. Yes I'm having trouble adjusting to the empty nest thing.

Nonstop rain the whole time.
Arriving at the campground to find they gave our site to someone else despite us having it paid for and reserved a week in advance.
Discovering a nice quiet local campground that everyone enjoys, then to find out they are closing. And finding that Michigan has closed several state forest campgrounds, one local one that you liked.
Only being able to afford staying close to home and going a couple times a year.

GA MOM wrote: A previous poster commented on how she worried while watching her husband back their camper into the parking place once home. I have similar anxiety issues with pulling & parking our camper. I'd have to say that the way I get sooo nervous when putting the camper in a site or while pulling into a gas station with the camper attached is the biggest negative for me. I agree with the previous poster, it's my own fault.
How about campgrounds where rules are not enforced?
When I go camping I will break camp and travel most of the way home. If it gets to dark, I then stay on the New Stanton rest area through the night because backing into my parking pad at night is a tight fit and hard to do. I wake up early enough in the morning to drive the rest of the route to get home and park while it is daylight in the morning. Then shower, eat, and leave for work. Works great.
