Some of the decals on my 07 Damon have faded and cracked. This happened only to the decals that have a red tint. The gold and black ones are fine. I have seen other Damons that look the same but others that look better. Mine makes the whole rig look much older than it is. I'd like to know what others have done to fix thiers.

Update:
I finally called Damon Customer service and they gave me the number for Graphx Unlimited, 574 546 3770. They agreed to replace the defective decals free of charge but would not pay to have the work done. All in all I'm happy.
Apparently Elkhart County Graphics is out of business

You can do a couple of things. Replace the decals, or use something called PolyGlo. I have never used it, but many in here rave about it. It restores the vinyl graphics for a time, and I heard it works wonders on faded fiberglass.

My advice is worth exactly what you paid for it.

If you want to spend a little more money go to a decal shop and have your own custom decals put on.

I have the same problem, the Burgundy/Red strips have cracked and the black and gold are like new. It's a 2007 Damon Daybreak and he fiberglass is in good shape and I have washed and waxed routinely to keep the body in good shape. Is it possible to order these strips from Damon? I have also had a Leipert Jack problem on my Damon since day one when I picked it up new, of course I had Camping World for a service center and that has been a joke for 2 years.

i bought a damon daybreak in 2008, it was a brand new 2007 with 700 miles. the decal that wrapped around the front was peeling and that was no big deal, but now a lot more are peeling. does damon offer any help with this"""" i sent this to damon and they told me if there was any " good will " in the matter i would find it at the graphics co. how nice.

I don't know if this will revive the decals; however, in order to preserve them I have used Protectant 303 on mine since I bought my coach new in 2003 and do it twice a year. They look like they just came out of the factory!Just spray on the 303 and rub it off. "rub on, rub off".

I do believe there has been an issue with Damon decals. There have a few '06 models that I've read about with issues, so it may depend on when your coach was built (early in the year 07 might have more issues??) My 07, so far, is fine. I have also read that the decal company has been very helpful in resolving the issue. I would check out that route. I believe it was either here or on IRV2 forum that had a member who replced his decals and got them from the decal manufacturer.
