We are going north in a few days, want to avoid I-95 as mush as possible. I realize A1A will be slower and more stop lights. Is it big enough road for Moho towing?? Plan on stopping a couple days in St Augustine, then to Washington D.C.

We have pulled a fiver and traveled with a mh on that part of A1A without incident. There are alot of route turns thro small cities, but quite doable if you take your time to enjoy scenery.

Have driven that coast from Sebastian to St. Augustine in 31' MH pulling a toad and used A1A as much as possible. Loved the trip! There was one roomy rest area north of Daytona Beach that was right across the road from the beach. We had a great lunch stop there.

I haven't pulled a TT down A1A for any length, but have driven a lot of it. If you don't mind the small towns and stops, the view is worth it. Beats I95 scenery any day.
And in the end it's not the years in your life that count, it's the life in your years.

You'll be fine, plus an extra bonus that we in motor homes get is the added view. We keep our camera on the dash as we travel and have many photos taken from inside the MH while going down the road.
Visit Dino's Family Restaurant or Captain's Galley before you leave Ft. Pierce, you will enjoy.
