That way it is a snap to do a quick spray with a hose on the windows for the next trip. One thing my dad always said was "I don't care how dirty it gets on the trip, but we always start out with a clean rig". But I store the RV indoors, so it stays clean until the next trip dirties it again. I have been known to clean it during trips too in do-it-yourself truck wash bays, basically to rid bugs and dust.
