I am currently in the market for a new travel trailer and I have my eye on the springdale 303BH-SSR. The dealer gave me a price of 23k. Is this a fair price or should I try and talk them down some? Thanks for all the help.

Not sure where you're from, but we were recently in the market until we bought our Jayco Eagle last week.
While shopping we checked out the Springdales and that unit you're wondering about was quoted to us at approximately $21,000. I can't remember if it was actually $20,500 or $21,500 so I'm splitting the difference. In any event that's at least $1500 off what you're getting quoted at.
It was at National Camperland in Sylvania, OH if that helps.

You should always try to talk them down....It's all part of "the game". All they can do is say "no", at which point you walk away. Then they call with a better price and you start "the game" all over. That's what makes it so much fun.

Before getting serious I suggest going to www.rvknowhow.com and read/heed the Kieva's suggestions for how to select an RV. That's more important than the discount over the long haul.

Sorry for the confusion, Im located in Southern California. I know thats the trailer we want but were just not sure what a good price to pay is. This will be my first new travel trailer and unlike a car theres really no place to go and look up what a good price is. I guess Ill just have to see what I can talk them down to.

I looked at it on the Keystonerv.com webpage and that is a very nice looking trailer. No matter what you pay for it, I hope you enjoy it as much as we do our Sprinter. We have had no problems with out Keystone product.

I guess it would make a difference what options were included with that price.

I didn't say it was your fault, I said I was going to blame you

I went to the manufacturer's website and custom built my Jayco. That way I knew MSRP. I did save $10,000 off the MSPR from RV Direct.
