I'm looking to buy a TT, for summer fun. I would tow it with a Nissan
Titan. I'm looking for a low price and long life. I plan to use it for
many future summers and maybe go full time. I live in FL, but am willing to travel and buy it almost anywhere. So any suggestions?

I would visit a few dealer lots to find out exactly what I was looking for, then, at least you know what you want.

There are so many choices out there, that deciding on which is for you will be the hardest task.

Once you know what you want, then, it depends on how hard you want to look, and how much you want to pay.

There are so many choices out there because almost everyone has a very unique idea on what the "perfect RV" is.

Good luck in your search, you should enjoy this very much.

For a trailer that is generally considered suitable for full timing, AND low cost AND long lasting, you're probably going to have to be looking at used trailers. Some of those criteria are opposed to one another. I guess they're ALSO ambiguous as to the terms themselves so possibly not. Good luck / Skip

Low price and long life? If it were me Id look for a used Sunline or even an a used Airstream if you can find one priced right.

Good luck with that!
That's 5 words that can never be used together truthfully in a sentence when referring to travel trailers and just about anything else that's manufactured..."low price and long life".

How about I phrase it this way. Looking for a good value for the consumer....RV dealers don't like this question, when I ask this
question.

They say "just sign here" it's only $xxx per month.

A used Sunline 1950 fits the bill if it's for 1-2 people. Here's one just to show you what the inside looks like and give you an idea of the floorplan.

I would visit as many dealers and RV shows as I could and don't make a decision right away. What part of Florida are you in? I know of a few good RV dealers that I think are honest and some that I wouldn't give the time of day to. I'm sure others know some as well....if we know where you are, we might be able to pass on some helpful hints

I would try to find a good used Airstream first, but if you can't then I would certainly suggest a Palomino Gazelle. Ours is a G210 model and we are very, very happy with it. We will start full-timing in it on May 31st. We have modified it to make it more suitable for full-timing, like adding solar, LED lights, more storage, etc. You can see our trailer and read all about what we have done to it on our blog site at http://rvroadtrip.us/.
