Anyone out there purchased a StoneRidge fiver from KZ? If so, how do you like it's performance? The DW and I looked at the 38SR several weeks back and really like it. We were thinking about upgrading after a few months of fulltiming. We like KZ and their two year warranty.
Thanks,

I do not own one, but we too liked the stone ridge. My 8 yr old fell in love with the lofted version and cried for two days because AI just didn't whip out the debit card and buy it! They are nice trailers and appear very well built!

Looking at the floor plan the only thing I saw that I didn't care for was that it looks like when the slides are in and your traveling,if you stop and wanted to get into the refrigerator you would have to put out a slide to get to the frig.Other than that looks nice.Something to think about.

We looked at that as well. The one we were in had a double door fridge, and it looked like you would be able to access the left side with the slide in. The island would stop you from opening the right side, though.

The Stoneridge line replaced the discontinued Montego Bay line. They are built using the typical KZ methods( like Durango). They are also redesigning the Durango line and bring back the Escalade in June. Love our Durango and when it comes time for another it will be KZ again. I like the 38cf with the 2 fireplaces although I would delete the kitchen unit in lieu of more cabinets. Didn't care for the mix of woodtone/white in the kitchen but saw pics online of units with the full cherry option....very nice. Saw my dealer at a show and asked about the line and he said they are doing very well...he had a 38cf on order for 8 weeks and still not ready at that time. Go for it

Yes it replaced the Montego Bay the frame is now 10" instead of the 18" frame on the Montego and I believe the roof decking was dropped to 3/8" from 1/2" so the structure has been ligthened up I don't know if I would want to give up my Montego Bay for the extra length and glamour of the stoneridge even though I'm still having a leak issue that cannot be found and KZ really don't want to hear it now that it is out of warranty but the condition existed a few months after ownership so I guess the economy has greatly affected quality control and the good business practices of KZ this is my second fver from them not looking good for a third.Seriously checking out the Landmark by Heartland or a Carriage maybe.
