What do I have to do to use my current tv since the change over. I have antenna which has always worked well when cable was not available. Have decided not to go Satelite. There are a lot of nice campgrounds that do not have cable. Your help appreciated.

Just add a digital converter box. Available at any Best Buy, Radio Shack, Fry's, etc... Hooks up between the antenna and the TV. Tune the TV to Ch. 3. Use the digital tuner in the converter box to scan for digital channels. Very easy to set up...

There is also an add on attachment for your roof top Wineguard Antenna if that is what you have. It cost about $30.00 and just clips on the antenna. Really helped me pick up more channels. It's available at Camping World.

You would need a digital converter box for sure. There's not as big a variety of channels as cable or satelite but we got a pretty good range when we used ours in Florida last month.

Just make sure your box has the analogue pass through feature. Not all local TV stations broadcast a digital signal. The pass through also allows you to use your VCR and DVD units if you have them.
My stock bat wing antenna gets very good analogue signals although I haven't tried the clip on thing.

Yes you should get the Set Top Box. It is the box that allows your analog tv to receive digital signals. I would recomend the pass through model. My own is not, though I wish it were. Also I would recomend the clip on antenna. It is called the Wingman and is sold by many different types of outlets including on line. It is made by Wine Gard.
I live 40 miles South East of Seattle in the foothills of the Cascade Range and before digital I was able to receive 8 analog stations and only 6 of them were clear and viewable. With the Set Top Box alone I was able to receive 16 digital channels. Most very good. With the set Top Box and the Wingman I now receive 21 clear strong channels.
If you do buy the Wingman and install it be sure to notice where it will lie when you put it down. I had to clip 1 inch off of one of the wings so it would miss my forward vent. Didn't seem to bother it.

Just curious where you're finding a lot of analog channels. I've seen a few "repeater" stations that still broadcast analog but they're almost all privately owned, like religious channels, shopping channels or educational channels.
