We bring along one of those solar showers (a black plastic bag, really) -- but we almost never use it because we camp at high altitudes where the air is cool and dry -- it is not fun to get all wet in the late afternoon breeze -- no matter how hot the water is, it is really cold.

Just installed an outdoor shower on my TC but haven't used it yet. As far as the laws, check with Colorado on that. On National Forest or Dept of Interior land the general rule is it's ok as long as you don't do it at "public water outlets, fixtures or pools, except at those designated for such purpose," unless the particular area has more stringent rules.

Just follow the "Don't ask don't tell" rule. I learned that from years of working as a contractor with the gov't. If you ask the answer will always be NO.

Of course you can use the outside shower-
Would you hesitate to use it to wash your dog if he/she needed a cleaning? NO! So why would washing your body be any different?
I use ours all the time and I find washing outside to be quite exhilarating- especially with a little breeze! Really gets the blood pumping! I did design a portable shower curtain because I got tired of people staring at me in the rv park- and I put a pallet down to stand on. Works great!

Some people might say "easier to ask forgiveness than permission." I tend to think graywater restrictions are a little over the top in most places, though, and I wouldn't add an extra "don't" to them.

Gray water, nude showering, all very amusing, but what sticks in my mind is that the OP makes his guests shower outside!

from what we have read., EVERY drop of water that falls in Co Already Belongs To Some One Else ! lol
Thought the county would look at it as if we had peed in some ones mouth.

ya got that right! No gray water on the ground, not even on your own property. Heck, we can't even have rain barrels! Colorado needs to wake up.
That said, I figure you should go ahead and use the outside shower. We use ours all the time, sometimes we are so dusty and dirt from riding ATVs that we don't want to go in the MH until we hose off.
