Hey fellas,,We will be spending a month in our motorhome this year on our private property in Colorado. Our Motorhome has an outdoor shower we have never used, However we will have a extra guest along with us this year and wonder how many of you use your outdoor shower?

Also Colorado is sorta weird on the laws,,would they not call your waste water from an outdoor shower grey water?? And if so must it be contained??

One more thing.. we have 60 gl fresh water tank we will be bringing in the puck-up bed.. We have before filled this tank at the city park in Buena Vista. any other ideas for filling our fresh water tank?

They would probably jail me for pumping from the river !

If you're on private property AND not in an urban area AND not close to a stream or lake it would probably NOT be a problem putting it on the ground. The only thing I've used our OS shower is to squirt the dog or wash our feet. The dog died and we don't get our feet muddy often It wouldn't be advisable to drink water form the river (even though it LOOKS clean).

I'd like to think they don't give tickets to people who wash dirty cars in CO. If that's the case, it's probably safe to wash your body and I hear you can do it in the nude in Boulder

we dont drink the water in our tanks,, only bought water,, never know what could be in it.. I have sanitized it before,, but still we did not drink it.

I just figured out why the mfg put that outdoor shower on that side,
To clean up our out the hose when dumping.. dang, wish i had thought of that before.

We use the outside shower to hose down the grandkids when they come home all sandy from the beach. I wouldn't consider using the outside shower an environmental problem. Heck bears still **** in the woods last time I checked. We drink from our fresh water tank all the time, that's what it's for, but to each his own. We fill up our water at gas stations, rest stops, and anywhere else I can find a spigot. Good luck!

ya know, there may be a stupid law about grey water, But on your own property, I do not think there will be any grey water police anywhere close to where you will be, unless you are in "Boulder")

I shower in the nude no matter where I'm at- it doesn't work as well with clothers on

If you shower inside, your drain water is toxic, evil and illegal to let out on the ground.

If you shower outside, it is OK because tenters do it.

Same with dishwater.
