This statement is true. The Dometic owners manual that came with my 2007 unit says exactly the same thing. Still, it wouldn't be a bad idea to make the fridge as level as possible. I understand that damage to the cooling unit is a cumulative process. Thus, even though there may be no noticeable problems initially there is a possibility of shortening the life of the unit if operated too often in an off level scenario. Why take a chance? Besides, a level fiver is more comfortable to live in. Things don't roll off the counter top and cabinet doors operate more like those in a regular house.

I want the stove level. If the frig is level at that time, fine.
I want the oil (and the eggs) to stay in the center of the skillet.
Wife doesn't cook, I do.
SHE wants the table level.
