After he does this:

"I think I'll just pop that little thing up on top of the RV and run the cable into the RF-in where you'd plug into at a RV-park"

He'll be back asking again why it won't work.

Guys....this is conflicting information. The head tech at the RV shop told me he was not happy with the crank-up Winegard, he said the linkage had too much play and if the wind blows the picture is lost. His suggestion was to either go with the Kingdome or just get a portable. I think I'll just pop that little thing up on top of the RV and run the cable into the RF-in where you'd plug into at a RV-park. The kids will mostly watch stuff from the DVR and for those occassions when we want live-feed Satellite, I can just set-up the dishy.

Thanks

I had one of those on my old trailer- no issues. Buddy had one on his moho- his was older than mine. He has the wobble issue and has to bungee it in the wind. There was a retrofit kit for the older ones, but it didnt work in his case. Not sure if it was a change in construction or if his unit was just worn out...

I have the crankup with digital magic. Like someone else said, I can find the sat quicker than the auto unit I had on another MH. If you have Dishnet just attach a second LNB to the original one and add an SW21 switch. Looking into the dish, mount the second LNB to the left of the original. Attach about 1/2" lower. Just use nylon ties. It works good. I have done it on several.
