On other threads show that the amplifier can be rotated 180 degrees so that the Wingman will point our instead of in. Thus no obstruction with the A/C. You must check that the Wingman does not extend beyond the side of the MH or trailer.

Im just sayin' what Winegard says: 10" whether it is 9 or 10 is subjective.

The zero point of your taping measure is in the wrong spot. It should be against the head, not the base of the wingman, which should be included in the measurement.

I know, maybe I am nitpicking- probably because I havent had some coffee yet.
You are, it's not even a 1/8". A double-expresso will solve that...

I cannot find any of the threads that show how to reverse the whole head 180 degrees. I dont see how it is possible. Can anyone share the links to those threads?

Here is my batwing before adding a Wingman. This picture shows my wi-fi receiver on the batwing which is another subject. If a batwing in mounted on the other side of the mast it can be unbolted and mounted on the side of the mast shown in the picture. Then the Wingman points out toward the side of the roof instead of in toward the A/C.

Is your winegard antenna mounted on the passenger side of your RV? It appears as if it is. I believe, that us folks that have a problem, have the winegard mounted on the drivers side, thus the wingman points toward the AC shroud and interferes when it is lowered.

I can't either, but it was part of a Wingman discussion and one of the folks had the same issues as you. Maybe if you start a new thread with something like Flipping the Batwing Around you'll get a bite.

From the Wingman support group. I received a E-Mail stating that by cutting off one of the tails of the wingman would not have a detrimental effect on the reception. If this modification will adapt the fit please try it.

Returning the wingman after 4 months was not a option.

Mine is on the passenger side, but you can see how the batwing can be remounted to the opposite side of the mast. I have not done it but others have posted that they have. I just put the picture in to show the geometry. Even if it required drilling another hole it would be no big deal.

Thanks for the measurements for the clearance numbers. I was going to buy one for the UHF. If all else fails I mount my ham radio antenna off of the tripod on the fiver. I already built a UHF antenna for the detached garage TV out of 3 nch by 25 inch piece of lexon and four coat hangers. i can put that on the mast instead. My only cost was the 300 to 75 ohm connector and it works as good as a large roof antenna. Cost was about 1.75 and works as well as the Batwing does I am sure.
