This recall on brake pedal assemblies has been somewhat confusing, and I have not had much luck getting accurate information from either Navistar or Kongsberg. The gist seems to be that certain 2008 - 2011 Monaco coaches, as well as other RVs and on-highway trucks, used a Kongsberg Adjustable Brake Pedal Assembly in which a pin "may" become dislodged causing interference with braking. Here is a summary of the Navistar recall notice:

Manufacturer: NAVISTAR, INC Mfr’s Report Date: JAN 13, 2010
NHTSA CAMPAIGN ID Number: 10V014000
Component: SERVICE BRAKES, AIR
Potential Number of Units Affected: 56
Summary: NAVISTAR IS RECALLING CERTAIN MODEL YEAR 2008-2009 BEAVER CONTESSA, MODEL YEAR 2009 BEAVER MARQUIS, PATRIOT, MONTEREY, MODEL YEAR 2009-2010 HOLIDAY RAMBLER AMBASSADOR, MODEL YEAR 2010-2011 HOLIDAY RAMBLER ENDEAVOR, MODEL YEAR 2009-2010 HOLIDAY RAMBLER IMPERIAL, MODEL YEAR 2010 HOLIDAY RAMBLER NAVIGATOR, AND SCEPTOR, MODEL YEAR 2010 MONACO CAMELOT MODEL YEAR 2010-2011 MONACO DIPLOMAT, MODEL YEAR 2010 MONACO DYNASTY, MODEL YEAR 2009-2010 MONACO KNIGHT AND MODEL YEAR 2010 MONACO SIGNATURE MANUFACTURED FROM JANUARY 22, 2008 THRU OCTOBER 27, 2009 ON BEHALF OF MONACO RV WITH KONGSBERG POWER PRODUCTS SYSTEMS ADJUSTABLE BRAKE PEDALS. THE DRIVE PIN WHICH SECURES THE BRAKE PEDAL ARM TO THE BALANCE OF THE ASSEMBLY MAY BECOME DISENGAGED, THIS MAY CAUSE A REDUCTION IN VEHICLE BRAKING AND/OR CAUSE THE BRAKE PEDAL TO MOVE OUT OF POSITION AND INTERFERE WITH THROTTLE PEDAL FUNCTION.

On the Kongsberg side, they provided these part numbers:

Manufacturer: KONGSBERG POWER PRODUCTS SYSTEMS I, INC
Mfr's Report Date: DEC 03, 2009
NHTSA CAMPAIGN ID Number: 09E064000 N/A
NHTSA Action Number: N/A
Component: SERVICE BRAKES, AIR
Potential Number of Units Affected: 12974

Equipment Brand Name / Part No. or Model No.: Production Dates:
KPPS / 6562618
KPPS / 6565118
KPPS / 77025-001
KPPS / 77025-002
KPPS / 77025-501
KPPS / 77050-004

These two notices show that more than 12000 units are affected overall, and only 56 Monaco coaches. I did hear that some Spartan chassis also are affected.

I checked my part number which is located on the top of the brake pedal assembly (need a mirror to read it) and it did not match any of these numbers, even though my coach and mfg date are both listed as included in the recall.

I did talk with one Kongsberg employee in Troy MI, and he had been working primarily on the Spartan chassis repairs, but he did say that this was fairly minor and that he knew of no field failures. The fix is a small c-clamp to retain the pin in the pedal assembly.

If you have more information, please share. My dealer did not even know about this recall, so they could not help either.

Received a call from a Kongsberg rep today. He confirmed that for my 2008 Beaver Contessa with brake pedal assembly part number 67025-001 that this is a Gen 1 pedal and not part of the recall.

This suggests to me that not all of the coaches listed in the recall are actually affected.

If you are concerned about your coach I would suggest checking the part number yourself against the list Kongsberg has published in their recall notice.
