They are very nice trailers with very reasonable weights for the trailer size. And if you do your research and are willing to travel to get it or pay to have it delivered you can get some great deals. I'm talking 33% off list.

Hey Joe, I put the trailer back in beside the garage tonight. SO now I guess it's time for you to design that wall and pad for me. That was what we bet on the whole your getting an open range thing wasn't it?

I'm willing to travel. Any suggestions on where to go for that 33% off? Preferably within a two day drive from NE Tennessee. Is one region of the country more apt to discount than another?

The midwest has the best prices that i found - Iowa, Michigan, Ohio. i looked at many different models and the dealers in those states had by far the best pricing. A lot of it has to do with their proximity to the manufacturers I think.

We were right around 30% off of MSRP for the trailer.

I used RVsearch.com, RVUSA.com and RVTraderonline.com to find the trailers, then the big thing to look for is an option to "request the best price" from the dealer. I almost fell out of my chair when i got a lot of the results. Many were nearly 25% off MSRP or more without any haggling.

Hey Joe Camper,
I was wondering, I would love your new Open Range, it sounds like a great rig. I was wondering how big the freezer is? I would have to have something pretty good size as I hunt with a HOYT. Let's see, last year Javelina, Bull Elk, Antelope, Kasas WT, AZ Mulie, would there be room for that if you decided to switch to a HOYT?

You would need more than a Hoyt to get those critters past his wife and into that camper.

eh, if they were skinned she wouldn't mind. You have to remember, she lets me butcher my deer at the kitchen table

now a moose head, I am sure she would find some way to mount one above the entertainment center.
