I would like to hear from some folks who are members. How much does it cost? Is it worth it? Any bad experiences? How about good ones? Just thinking about joining.........maybe.

I agree. It's a wonderful program and pays for itself many times over.

We have been members for the past 5 years. We highly recommend it, it pays for itself on the 1st trip every year. Just pay attention to the restrictions listed on the site. Some campgrounds are one night only, some are Mon-Thurs only. Go for it.

I joined for two years several years ago and used it for one night in the two years. Only found one Park that would let us use Passport and only for one night. Went back the following year to the same Park and even tho the Park was only half full during the week they would not accept Passport Members. Other people love it but it sure did not pay for us. I never rejoined after the two years was up. Way to many restrictions for me

I got the one year to try it out. The first stop was 4 nights and the savings started. The more you look at the directory the more you can save. The only disadvanage that I could see is some of the seasonal restrictions. Guess it depends if you only want to use it during these times, it might not be for you. Try it for a year, it's less than a tank of fuel.

I think if you do a search on "Passport America" on this forum you will find that the vast majority, probably about 90% will tell you that they have nothing but good things and experiences with Passport America. Its the real deal. The other 1/2 price discount clubs like Camping Club etc are just Passport America Want-a-Be's. Cost is about $45.00 per year which you can recoup in just two or three nights of use, the rest of your travels are 1/2 price.

If you do a search on the PA site for the areas that you will be camping. You can get a better idea if it is for you. We have found that in the Southeat there are more PA campgrounds then in other areas.

We have had it pay for itself.

I don't believe I've ever HEARD of Passport USA but in case you really mean "passport America" it's great. We don't stay at RV Parking lots often but when we do it's ALMOST always a PPA park. We stay at a passport America campground in the RGV each winter and it saves us WAY more than the $44.00 annual membership fee just with our three or four weeks at that one campground. Good luck / skip
