Your welcome. We have stayed there several times and like it very much. Yes they are fussy about the grass but then again they have grass and that is probably why. We like the new area in the back along the large field. Room behind the rig for the kids to play.

You will love Knoebels, however I didn't think much of the Knoebols on site campground. The best thing about it is it is close to the park otherwise..........J&D mentioned above is the place to stay for a Knoebels outing.

Last summer we had a family trip to Knoebles....and loved their campground. There was plenty to do and I felt comfortable letting my then six year old hop on his bike and ride around with his 10 year old uncle...overall a great time!

They are the kind of camp grounds we like. The ones big enough for the kids to play not all bunched up .

We stayed there last summer. My daughter was 2 and she loved it! We paid as we went, and over 2 days, probably spent less than 30 in ride tickets. Some of the rides that we went on with her, the workers didn't even take our ticket! The campground served our purpose, and it was nice to be able to walk to and from the CG. It wasn't the best CG, but I wouldn't bash it! We stayed 2 nights. The site was plenty big enough for us (we were in the "Canada" part).

Knoebels onsite CG can get crowded and the sites are close, the price you pay for the convenience of being within walking distance to the park. J&D is a good CG but you will have to drive to and from the park. Lake Glory (owned by Knoebels) is a short ten minute ride to the park; however Knoebels does run a shuttle so you can leave the hassles of driving to and from the park to them.

The sites in the back of the campground in the Canadian Provance section are a lot bigger than the sites up front. It's a longer walk to the park, but there is a shuttle you can catch. There is also a newer bathhouse in that section. Weekends are very crowded, but we always camp there Sunday to Wed. and there are always empty sites in the back section.
