I use a "white" noise machine to stay asleep at home as I am a very light sleeper. I would like to use it in the camper but I have no idea how much power it uses. The label shows 20 watts or less on 120 volts but there is no more information. What can I expect for amp hour draw for 10 hours? Camper has a 115 amp/hour battery and I carry an extra fully charged in the wheel well to switch out when I need to.

If it's not too precious you can find an electronic geek to take it apart and probably rather easily end up with a 12V cig plug on the end.

Maybe this will help you convert the Amps to Watts. Good luck

Watts to Amps: Amps = Watts / Volts
Amps to Watts: Watts = Amps x Volts

You mean the sound of crickets, coyotes, and your neighbor's generator doesn't keep you asleep?

Play this. If you fall asleep at your computer you can sell your machine.

I would bet it uses far less than 20 watts.

We just use 2 small fans that take 4 "D" batteries. They typically last several nights or more on low. They also help keep the condensation down a bit.

not sure if this would help ,
but most smart phones today have applications for white noise or just about any type of background noise.
Thanks

This runs on 4 AA batteries for $29...if you want to keep it in the camper full time.

Rather than a white noise machine why not tune your radio to the AM band where there isn't a station broadcasting and adjust the volume to your liking. Works for me and my wife.
