I use a "fixed pressure" regulator. With my first pressure regulator, I had low pressure in the RV (shower, sink, etc). So I bought another "fixed pressure" regulator and now things are great.
So there are two explanations for this:
1. First regulator was bad
2. First regulator was the 40 pound kind and the second was the 60 pound kind.
In any case the second regulator solved the problem.

I use an adjustable regulator that I got from Lowes and have it set to just below 60. However, I also use the 5/8 hose and I changed the shower head to one of the new ones that mixes air with the water. Not only did it help tremendously with the shower pressure, it doesn't fill up the grey tank as fast.
Sometimes more volumn helps the situation.

Those cheap regulators always do that. Only thing you can do is spend more $$, or take it out of the system.

Some regulators will flow more volume of water than others at a given pressure. The brass adjustables run from 2.5 to around 6 gallons per minute.More $ = more flow.

Agreed, flow is more than likely your problem and not pressure.
