My wife and I are looking to purchase a new RV. We currently have a 26 ft. fifth wheel and are looking at a 34 ft. Now we want to go anywhere in the US and are concerned about getting into some campsites. I have had no problem with my 26 ft. We have noticed that our RV is one of the smaller ones where we go.We like to camp in U.S. forest campgrounds as well besides the state parks and private ones. Hate to buy one and get frustrated about getting parked. When being gone for possible months at a time one would like to have that extra living space. But 34 feet is our limit. Anyone have some advice or examples to help? We would greatly appreciate it!!! Thanks, Bill

If you don't want any problems anywhere, even 34 will be a problem. We had a 30' motorhome that wouldn't fit into some campgrounds. It's usually the narrow roads that are a problem for us. Ours is 40' and we do have to pass on quite a few state and US campgrounds, but not all.
We do fit into most private campgrounds, KOA's etc.
