What is wrong with the 'Digital Signature"? I sent a PM to the Admin about a year ago about this and I thought he told me they where working on this issue. Well my anti-virus software still doesn't like your Digital Signature and neither does Windows 7 Pro. It takes about one minute to load the log in page and then another minute and a half to load the home page. Not to mention any post I try to view. Am I the only one having this issue? My Computer is brand new as in I picked it up last Thursday and I am running Kaspersky Internet Security 2010.
PS this is the only site I am have this issue with.

What browser are you using? Also, have you tried using a different portal such as forums.woodalls.com to access the forums?

Some time ago, perhaps a year, the forum did have a problem with its certificate for its SSL. However, that was quickly fixed.
There have been a small number of members who have made the same statements as you, slow page opening. The vast majority, running all kinds of systems, report no problem. None of the moderators or administrators can replicate the problem you describe. The reported problems seem to have one of the following things in common. Using IE8, Chrome, or Linux. Many of those with problems have reported that the problems went away after, changing browsers and/or making sure they had all of the updates for their systems. The Linux users found that the problem was more wide-spread than it had seemed to them. Linux discussion boards provided a solution - they had to type something on their terminal page.
We don't want any of our readers to have slow down issues, but when we can't reproduce the problem, it is hard to find a solution on our end.

I mainly use Fire Fox 3.6 but also use IE-8 and it makes no difference which Browser or Portal I use. This is the only site I'm having this issue with. I have added all three Portals to Kaspersky's exception list otherwise it won't even let me load any of the Portals.
Before you ask I'm running the default settings in Kaspersky and again this is the only site so far that I'm having this problem with. Heck even Full Tilt and Poker Stars loads like lightning.
Also the Computer has all updates and I have Windows set to automatic updates I just loaded 4 optional updates it downloaded this morning @ 2:47 AM and rebooted the computer. I do a defrag every 3 days and run a complete virus scan everyday. I can upload to the site in an instant it is just loading a page the first time takes all day, it's like having dial up .

FYI, every day, around the time of your original post in this thread, the forum comes to a halt for scheduled server maintenance.

Do you have any ad blocking software or filters on your router or firewall that is separate from your security software? I find sometimes there might be a single element on a web page that makes it load up slowly. You can try looking at the status bar in the browser to see what it's stalled on loading.
Have you tried turning off automatic loading of images in your browser to see if it makes any difference?
I use both Firefox and Chrome in WinXP and Win7 and don't experience any slowdowns accessing this site.

I see that the original post was made at 9:36 pm (PST). Although, I haven't really noticed any problems myself, could that time be pushed back even later so those of us on the west coast can avoid the server maintenance? My bedtime isn't till around midnight and 9:00pm+ is my prime surfing time .

Well I found out why it was so fast, I had turned off my internet security program to load some software and forgot to turn it back on. Now that it is back on the site is back to being very slow. For some reason Kaspersky does not like any of the Affinity Group's Digital Certificate so it scans every page I open. This is only happening on your sites and no others. Any ideas, I looked to see if I could change any settings to help but the only way to do that is to low my security settings across the board. I can't believe I'm the only mamber having this issue, any ideas?
