There is also not likely to be one soon. Most commercial directories have standards a facility must meet, to be listed. Many private membership facilities prefer not to be listed, except in directories made available only to members.
If you had a list of all RV parks, mobile home parks available to RVs, private campgrounds and resorts, public campgrounds and resorts, you would likely not want to sort through it, trying to separate the places you might want to stay, and be allowed to stay, from those you could not or would not use. The published directories, do a lot of this sorting out for you.
I try searching by state for the campground owner association website. From what I've seen, and from comments I've read, Pennsylvania probably has the most user friendly site out there. (not just saying that because I live here)
But, that being said, it still doesn't list all the campgrounds. I haven't seen 1 that lists private, chain, coe, and state parks all in 1 place. Pa Camping ...also available in print form, and it can be ordered free on the website.
You should really try my suggestion. So far I can't find a campground that is not listed. It is completely non biased and literally has every campground listed. You can also hit the print button and it will print out a map with all the campgrounds listed as well as complete address and telephone numbers. Trust me, just try it, you won't be sorry.

I like that site, BUT, just in a quick search in my area, there are 3 CG's off the top of my head that aren't listed, and 2 of them are top notch CG's, with 1 being a state park. There are some that have been closed for years, but there are also some I never heard of.
I guess that brings us back to , NO, there is not 1 place to go for listings, unfortunately.
I've tried to list many of them on my site, including private campgrounds as well as public ones (state parks, coe, etc.), and I know I don't have them all, but I'm adding more every day.

What are the names of the ones not listed, I'm just curious as I have had very good luck with it.
The campground info that google shows on their maps is all driven by their search results. All they do is geocode the address. The problem with this approach is many state parks for example use the address of their office in their web listing, which in many cases is no where near the actual campground, and many times not even near the park. Look at Salt Fork State Park in Ohio for example.

Thats very interesting. If you put campground in, it doesn't find it. If you put the actual name in or state park, it finds it no problem. I guess it relies on the individual or telephone directory to put campground in the name somewhere. I guess the states near where I live have been much more diligent when it comes to this.

The 3 I noticed are missing (or maybe I'm Blind) are...
1. Twin Grove Campground in Pine Grove Pa (aka Pine Grove KOA)
2. Locust Lake State Park, just north of Pottsville, Pa
3. Lickdale Campground, Off 81 and 78, not sure of town name.

This is very interesting. I've found all the parks, however their data is off.
Lickdale's data is pulled from stateparks.com, if you go there they have no mention of a campground.
Twin Grove is listed as Twin Grove Banquets & Catering and its data is pulled from reserveamerica.com
Locust lake's data is non existent, but the park does show up if you search for it.
These aren't even listed in the yellow pages correctly. I guess information is only as good as what's given.
