The DW and I just returned from the AC RV show. We saw several Heartland fifth wheels, Sundance, Sundance XLT and Greystoke and were looking for any advice (good or bad) about Heartland RV's. Thanks!!

Just ordered a 2011 Heartland Big Country 3250TS from my dealer.
We ordered so we'd get just what we want/need. Trading a cardinal that we had also ordered. It taakes a while, but worth waiting for.
Freezing in FL (cause we were freezing in IN. Will it ever stop??
(Last journey for the Card (also great unit).

See my profile, 2008 3300SK with only small issues all covered by Heartland. Your dealer is key to good service no matter what rig you go with.

We took delivery a little over a month ago of our new bighorn and our dealer RVs for less in Knoxville Tn and heartlands customer service are the best. We had a converter issue (not Heartlands fault) and I called the dealer who called Heartland and then had me call heartland. They took care of the problem quickly without question as did my dealer and we love our 3610. We highly recomment them.

We took delivery on a new Big Country about a month ago! Although it's still winterized and we can't camp right now, it sure is a beautiful rig! I just go out and sit in it. Can't wait for spring! (or at least above freezing temps)
Best wishes on your quest!

I have a friend who has a Bighorn (about 3 or 4 years old). He had a lot of problems the first couple of years (which were Heartland's early years).
Heartland did stand behind the unit and resolved most of his problems. Recently, I asked him if he would buy another Bighorn. He said no way. He said he had too many problems and too many ruined trips. He said Heartland's customer service was good, but he would not own another. He has ownwd fifth wheels since the 80's and said he had never had a trailer with so many problems.

When my grown kids were inspecting our new fifth wheel, one asked why we bought a trailer that sleeps 4. My reply was that we couldn't find one that sleeps 2!

From what I have read on the Heartland Owners forum, this is a pretty rare response.
We have an Elkridge fifth-wheel on order. Should come be here in a couple of weeks. I really liked the fit and finish of this fifth-wheel. Can't wait to get it.

We have a 2009 3670 BigHorn we like the camper but have had a lot of problems. Good thing we have a great dealer as far as yourself calling Heartland forget it. They are not much help dealer has to do it all. My last problem they told me which dealer to go to which I had already called before I talked with them with know help. Our dealer right now is 1200 miles away I have talked with him and I guess I will just have to wait until we get back home in May. So after this said just make sure you have a good dealer.
