For those of you that move around a lot....what are you using for your internet provider? I have a broadband card and it is ok but just wanted to know if there is better. What are you using?

We use a Verizon air card. Have been since early 2007 and it works great. Wherever we have phone service we have internet.

After struggling with park Wi-Fi we love our Verizon Mi-Fi wireless card.

There is also Hughes Net Satellite systems. That will work in places where air cards don't work, provided your antenna can see the bird. Air cards depend on cell towers.

We use Motosat which is a VAR for Hughes Net, a satellite internet provider. we go many places that a air-card is useless or slower than molasses, such as our location here in Quartzsite AZ and our trips into Mexico. Have never been in a location that I could not get service from our satellite system.

We spend a lot of time in areas where there is not even cell phone service, let alone broadband service. This includes Alaska, the northern plains, Arizona, New Mexico and Texas border areas and places coast to coast. The only thing that seems to work for us is Hughes Net. Speeds are not blazing fast, but they're faster than I can type, so we're pleased. We only have one subscription and one modem. We move it from the rig to the house as we travel or spend time at home. We have a fixed antenna at home and a seeker on the Bus.

It's the best solution for us.
