While back someone posted a picture of a squeeze bulb system with clear hoses to keep battery's topped off with distilled water.

I was having some cable's made today and ask the battery distirbuter about that system and he said they were all recalled because they were leaking. When I saw it I thought it was a pretty good idea. Anyone seen them lately - know who makes them?

Pro File is right, great system, easy to use and can be removed when you change RV's. Several people have seen mine and gone out and bought a system for the themselves.

Once you get one, you'll never use anything else. We've had one on the last two Class A's and it was the first thing I bought.

I just purchased the Flow Rite Qwik Fill battery watering system for my camper and boat. I received it yesterday and haven't had a chance to hook it up yet. Do search on Flow Rite Qwik Fill on the Internet and you will find several places that sell them.

Your battery distrubutor probably doesnt sell them, maybe thats why he said that. I used one for about 7 years in my motorhome ((4) 6 volt coach batteries). It did not leak, ever, and I highly recommend a system to anyone. One of those RV add-ons that you can't live without after owning one.

Pro-Fill is for 6 volt batteries, Qwik-Fill is for 12 volt batteries. Both are made by the Flow-Rite Co. Google them for info.
I have the Qwik-Fill system for my two 12 volt batteries. Fills them both to the proper level with the squeeze of a single bulb. One of the best things that I have bought for the camper. No more pulling the batteries out and lifting caps to check the levels. Money well spent. I highly recommend it. -Mark.

I had one in my previous Apex8 and it worked great with no leaks. Current Apex9.5 has AGMs so not needed.

Only thing is to make sure you use a light touch when squeezing the bulb as a gorilla grip WILL overpower the valves at the caps, resulting in over-filling the battery. Use light pressure until you feel resistance to water flow and then stop.

Last I knew you could get this from Camping World as well as most RV parts places.

I just received my Qwik-Fill order from Camping World this week. I'm getting too old and weak to lift batteries out of the compartment.
