It's not even March yet,and many people are leaving for home. Why would you go home so early after such a bad winter? Last year we left on the last day of March and still got into 6" of snow. I want to enjoy some warm weather before heading home. It's coming next week,RIGHT?

We usually stay well into April, Not this year. It's cold and not showing sighs of any warm up soon and it's to late for the water to warm up so might as well head home sooner then norm.

The snowbirds are still here in Yuma as every where you go there are a lot of people. With the weather in the 70s its a good place to be

Several I have talked to, cite lack of discretionary income that they had in years past, as the main reason for shorter time in the RV. In this economy, running 2 households(S&B plus RV) as many snowbirds do, just isn't as feasible as before. We have good friends that have been snowbirding for 31 years and this year they went back 2 months early, for that reason.

Michigan has been getting hit all week with snow...not one day yet this week have we had sunshine...2"-3" more today and snow flurries all weekend...slight warm-up (40's) maybe late next week but I wouls still advise to stay away...

Clio is getting hit worse than Pinckney these days in terms of temperatures and snow...

"Everyone"?? How do you make such a generality?? Hardly any here are showing signs of leaving! Where are you talking about?? If it is too cold for you there - move over here where the weather is lovely!!

It better be coming Not next week here around Tampa, but it's got to be close. Freakish winter. We're here until the end of April and I haven't heard of people heading north early.

We were always quite happy to see other snowbirds leave early. It meant more space and less traffic for those of us who stayed through April.

Is it warm anywhere in Florida? We're near Orlando, leaving next Wed., 3/3 and want to go farther south in FL. Looking at Pine Island KOA and trying to find reviews. Lake Okeechobee KOA (Pahokee) but reviews not good. Trying not to spend $100/night or would go to the Keys.

It amazes me that people leave Mesa, AZ before the end of March. But when we finally leave the park in early April it is almost empty.
