I would like to get the 765T but am really nervous about some complaints I read regarding lack of data on the screen such as city names, landmarks, etc.. I guess I'll have to just buy one and try it as it is my first GPS and I have nothing to compare it to other than a gazillion conflicting reviews.

I finally found a great discussion regarding the difference between the 760 and 765t here. I think I will go with the 760 even though Garmin says it is obsolete.
