Thank you all for your "kind" replies. I have only stated my experience & pointed out that the links showing no power for this year each have errors in their reporting. So, thanks for the efforts to portray me as some kind of kook. Please feel free to point out any inaccuracies in my statements. I might also add that the original poster asked for suggestions of parks to stay at on a visit to Yellowstone & that until I recommended Fishing Bridge only 2 other people had bothered to reply. I made a suggestion based upon my own experience & now all at once everyone wants to jump in & correct my statement that there were full hookups at the park. In fact, the first few posts stated that there is no power at the park, quoting a NPS link. The link quoted shows a picture of a site at the park with an electric hookup. I said there was power when I visited & questioned info in the links posted by people to prove there is no power fo 2010. So to the original poster, if you are interested in Fishing Bridge, then call them & ask them. Oh & be sure to include your email address because you might get an email about no power because one of the posters on this thread knows of people who have made reservations that have gotten emails about no power.

You guys and Gals are crazy and must have home cabin fever like me. I will call tomorrow for Fishing Bridge and find out if they are maybe thinking of changing any plans for electric. I dont have a Gen set so electric is a must, Fishing Bridge is my first pick but it looks like I will be going to the West park to camp. For the one person that posted my brother in laws family must not like me,they stayed in Ponderosa in Cody and drove to diffenert parts of the south loop of the park every day. I dont feel like staying in Cody WY and spending up to 3 hrs one way just to visit a point of interest so camping in the park is a must.

We stayed at the RV park in Yellowstone once and felt like we were in a parking lot. No room at all. I perfer just the regular campgrounds in the park, but they don't have hookups. Plan on several days there if you want to see it all and have time to enjoy it. We love it out there.
