Has anyone with a 190 Chevrolet RoadTrek or a Chevrolet Pleasure-Way Lexor purchase a ladder for the rear door, passenger/curb side, if so were was the ladder purchased?

I realize the ladder could not be used to step on, but rather the ladder would be ideal to hold a Ham Radio antenna or a CB antenna or both.

Can't you clamp your antennas to you rear tire carrier or the front door mirrors. I have my CB antenna on the driver's side mirror.

Just about any RV store carries these. I got mine online for my van for less than 100.00

GM says hang nothing on their doors. Hence side ladders on some vans.

I got one on-line for for my '02 C190P from a custom van supply place. It worked to get me head-n-shoulders above the roofline for a better photo vantage point a few times, and I bungee'd a partially-collapsible lawn chair to it for short trips several times. I didn't use it to get onto the roof. IMO it sort of draws the untutored eye away from the features that say 'RV', and adds to the 'just a custom van' look.

I looked into this locally when we got our RT.

Everyone I talked to said, "Don't do it." Especially with a new RT. Having a ladder there is apt to lure you to get up on the roof. It's the temptation thing... I would find other ways to store the items you mentioned. I had a ladder on my Ford van back in the early 80's. It still bent the door even with little use.
