I had this happen with a new blue ox tow bar. It made my 31 ft MH wobble all over on the highway. Semi's passing would almost make me loose control. Over 700 miles I stopped at 4 different RV stores to have the bar checked. None of them would beleive me that the tow bar was defective to replace it.
It was at the 5th RV store that I figured my life was worth more than 800.00 dollars and I stopped to 'buy' another one. It was this RV store that took me seriously when I told him I was serious about buying another one. We hooked up and unhooked and drove around the lot several times.
Even though both levers would pop up and were hard to the touch the mechanism inside was NOT fully locking on one side. Causing one side to slip causing the toad to wander and push the MH around.
He made a phone call and they replaced it for free.

rockhillmanor,
Thanks for that response. Like most, I take for granted that the levers popping up means locked. I do check and then double check to make sure everything is locked before pulling out.
