Before emails are downloaded to my computer, I see what's waiting by using MailWasher Pro. It's a great little program. You can see the emails and first few lines in MailWasher Pro, delete or bounce emails before they're uploaded to your computer, and it learns as it goes ... you tell it who is a friend, who needs to be blocked, etc.

I used the freebie version for a long while, then upgraded to the low-cost version when I needed to monitor more than four email accounts.

When on the road with a not great connection, I use my web mail account. I just go to gmail and look at the mail and size of the files, if to big, I delete them before I even begin my downloads.

I feel like people are getting lazy when the only they hvae to stay in touch is to make a few clicks of the mouse and flood all of there recpients mail boxes. I'm not trying to sound too grouchy about it but I much rather someone sit down and write ME.

Why do I get the impression you are not going to send my e-mail to 30,000 people in the next 5 seconds to receive a blessing at exactly 8:39AM on the second Tuesday of next week?

I'm with you bro. I can't understand the mentality of someone who thinks it's cute to send me jokes, but never reads or answers an email from me.

I also use MailWasher Pro and delete spam and large attachments before I get my email.
