Over the table here, I hope this is not to many pixs, Heck this is more fun than the deconstruction of the old RV.

Wish I had the cam as I was taking this apart, There is so many things done wrong from the factory that cause this thing to leak like the vents around the lights like daylight around the tail lights and so many of the wall supports that was cut too short like half an inch and they just put a wide staple in it instead of cutting a new one the right length and I even found this around the window framework and the rear of this at the lower part under the window The top framework was two inch from the lower framework, When it should have sit right on top of the other so below the back window this thing would have been moving and shaking as soon as it left the factory, I would say this thing was set to leak not long after it hit the road I sure hope they build them better these days thats a lot of money for one IF its built like this one was.

Hi oldtrucker63,

I think, if anything, the product quality has dropped. At least the "fit and finish" on my 2004 RV is worse than on my 1987. The 1987 did leak--but part of that was the original owner *bashing* in the passenger side rear corner. He patched it with silicone over and over...and the leak got worse and worse. I finally solved the leak by injecting expanding foam, and then covering the entire corner with Eternabond.

My 2004 RV has staples where there ought to be screws. So far I've put in nearly 300 screws. Even using a drill to drive them that takes time. I have at least another 200 to replace--some day....

Yes I think they should build them better than that Hu. Hey look at the pix where it shows the corner on my RV. ?? Will that Eternabond work to replace this wide strip of plastic or whatever it is, There is some that is bad. ???
