They put him under light sedation so they could evaluate his mouth. He has what she describes as a mass on the right side that seems to have involved bone because two of his teeth basically fell out during the exam. Poor Loppy! It's not looking too good so far but the next step(s) will provide more answers. I have been referred to a dental vet specialist so they can remove the mass for biopsy and see through x-rays how involved it is. The ER vet faxed over her case notes and I will be calling them when they open at 7:30am. She (the ER vet) wants him seen tomorrow "without fail". I am so worried!!!!!
