It's Air Base Road in Adelanto. They finally put a stop light there in the last year or so.

We drove I-5 all the way to BC this summer and was not looking forward to it as of all the bad road reports I heard but I've been on worse Interstates and didn't find it all that bad. Get off at Lost Hills thru Bakersfeild to 58 to Kramer Jct.(Four corners) S.on 395 to Avation Blvd or Airport Blvd(something like that)T/L to end(18)T/R thru Victorville&Apple Valley and just keep going 18 turns into 247 at the stop sign in Lucerne Valley and just keep on it right into Yucca Valley.Don't have to go into Barstow.Do it all the time andthis is the most direct&best way.Have a safe drive....Weather is perfect here today, best time of the yr. weather wise in the desert...
